AFL: Carlton vs Collingwood, MCG
May 12th 2007 05:05
Just a live update for those on the move:
Carlton are leading Collingwood 33-21 early in the second quarter in a fantastic game at the MCG. There has been blood, fists, goals, frees, jumpers ripped off backs - wow!
Certainly a few incidents the AFL will have a look at during the week - and it's not even half time.
Magpie young-gun Dale Thomas started an all-in brawl after a late bump on Marc Murphy late in the first term.
The resulting free kick was a goal, and within seconds another brawl erupted at the quarter-time break - Brendan Fevola walked away with blood streaming from his head, Josh Fraser was knocked senseless and Alan Didak had the suitcase punched out of him.
What a game! Turn on Fox Footy!
Alas, I now have to leave home to go and watch local SFL football - if it wasn't my job I wouldn't be leaving this couch!
Cheers,
Glen Atwell.

Daisy's bump was fair i'll have you know! It should also be noted that Fev sparked the quarter time incident when he followed the collingwood players making their way to the quarter time huddle- deserved it! Hope no one gets rubbed out though as Rocca has said 'spectators love a bit of biff'
-loved every minute of it Anthony!
LONG LIVE THE BLACK AND WHITE!
ps: Josh Fraser- what a star!

What do you mean by fair? Fair as in normal play, or fair as in for the good of the game?
I'll agree with you and Rocca that Daisy's bump and the following fracas was great for the game (and the pockets of the AFL) - but the late bump was not fair!!
It was a sensational game!
