AFL Finals Tips 2007: Sydney v Collingwood
September 6th 2007 10:19
Welcome back to Sport Talk! Hope you're having a great day.
Collingwood v Sydney could go close to being one of the hottest finals for the entire AFL finals series. The hot and cold Pies against the never-write-them-off Sydney Swans. It promises to be a classic encounter.
Before we have a look at the teams, I'd like to share one of my personal photographs with you:
It's Micky-O during the 2006 AFL Grand Final, with a black and white filter, a spot colour touch and a warm film grain. O'Loughlin will certainly play a big role in Saturday night's clash.
It's Thursday night! Here are Saturday's selected teams.
X-Factors are in bold.
COLLINGWOOD v SYDNEY SWANS
Saturday, 7.30pm AEST, MCG
COLLINGWOOD

Umpires: Stephen McBurney, Matt Stevic, Shane McInerney
Can't wait to see Bevan match up on Thomas, and It will be interesting to see who lines up on Anthony Rocca, wouldn't think Craig Bolton would get the job.
Rusling could be very important for Collingwood, if Travis Cloke and Rocca misfire, which happens often, Rusling could be the one to bag the four or five that Collingwood will need to win.
Tyson Goldsack also has the potential to bob up and play a blinder running off the half backline, or will he crumble under first year pressure? That's where the Swans have the edge. A big edge.
Can't help but tip the Swans. Too experienced, too tough and too bold to be beaten by a slightly out of form Magpies. Forget the Pies' loss to Adelaide, the Crows are in top touch, but Collingwood are much better than that performance.
Swans to win by 13 points in front of a 83,330 strong crowd at the G.
