Bracelets Instead Of Rings?

After cliniching NBA championship on Tuesday, the zany Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, wanted to bring something new into the organization. Instead of having championship rings, he wanted to introduce bracelets to all the players and staff members. Mark Cuban was alone on his novel idea. He thought the rings were “old school.” The Maverick organization had consensus exit interviews on the subject matter on Tuesday. The president of basketball operations for the Mavericks, Donnie Nelson, agreed that the organization should receive rings. He even joked about the bracelets being made out of cubic zirconium, if the Mavericks were to have them. The coach, Rick Carlisle a.k.a Jim Carrey, said he wanted another ring. He won a championship with the 1986 Boston Celtics as a reserve guard. The NBA Finals MVP, Dirk Nowitzki said that the bracelets weren't manly. Nowitzki said he would prefer the ring with a big smile on his face; said that the ring is so classic. The organization wasn't ready to break out of the old tradition. The Dallas Mavericks won their first championship ever in their 31 year franchise.
