Collingwood star drunk and on phone at time of car accident
COLLINGWOOD defender Heath Shaw was booked by Victoria Police for drink-driving and talking on his mobile phone after a car accident in East Kew on Saturday night.
Shaw, 22, was the driver of the vehicle, which smashed into a number of parked cars in Rixon Street in East Kew about 11.30pm.
A second Collingwood player was also in the car at the time of the accident.
Shaw was served with a penalty notice after being found to be over the legal blood alcohol limit of 0.05 per cent.
Penalty notices are served to drivers who record a blood alcohol level of up to .15. The maximum penalty is 14 months loss of license.
Shaw was not injured in the accident.
Collingwood is believed to be preparing a statement on the issue.

Pres Eddie will be almost as shattered as all those SuperCoaches who have Shaw in their team, but have no trades left coming into the finals this week!

absolutely agree, he might be a special player, but that won't save him
