Dallas Bounces Back, Spurs Struggle Again, Nuggets Survive
April 26th 2011 13:21
After their epic collapse in game four, the Dallas Mavericks won game five against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Mavericks were led by Dirk Nowitzki, who had 25 points, and Tyson Chandler, who finished with 14 points and 20 rebounds, which is his biggest game of the series. The Mavericks will head back to Portland for game six, where they are 0 for 4 this season. The San Antonio continues to struggle against the eighth seeded Grizzlies. They lost 104 to 86. Tony Parker was the Spurs' leading scorer with 23 points, and Mike Conley Jr for the Grizzlies with 15 points. The Grizzlies will have a chance to close the Spurs on Wednesday night at San Antonio. The Oklahoma Thunder had a chance to end the series last night, but couldn't. The Nuggets were led by Ty Lawson with 27 points, and Oklahoma was led by Durant with 31 points. It seemed in the regular season, the Nuggets beat almost everyone except the Thunder, but they got their first win of the series. To see if the Nuggets will get another one to keep their season alive, game five is Wednesday.
