Dallas Takes 3-2 Lead in The Series

For the first time in this series, the Dallas Mavericks had taken the lead in the series, 3-2. In the first quarter, the Mavericks were leading most of the game, but Mario Chalmers hit a three at the buzzer of the first quarter to give Miami a 31-30 lead. In the second quarter, Miami were leading most of the way, but Dallas went on a 14-5 run in the last three minutes of the second quarter. Dallas was leading at the half, 60-57. They shot 66% in the first half, while Miami had nine turnovers in the first half. In the third quarter, it seemed to be a three point shooting fest. The Dallas Mavericks were one three pointer shy of tying an NBA record for the game. In the fourth quarter, Miami cut the Dallas Mavericks lead to five after they led by nine points, which was the biggest lead that Dallas had in the series. The Miami Heat then went on a 9-0 run, which was all layups, dunks, and free throws until D-Wade three pointer made the score 99-95 with four and a half minutes left.
