In basketball news, the Memphis Grizzlies win game three in their building against the San Antonio Spurs, 91 to 88. The Grizzlies now hold a 2 to 1 advantage over the Spurs in the first round series. It might be a surprise to some people that the Grizzlies have the lead in the series, but the way that San Antonio finished the regular season, it should not be too surprising that they trail in this series. The Memphis Grizzlies were led by Zach Randolph, who finished with 25 points. He hit a three pointer with 41.9 seconds left in the game to put his team up, 91 to 86. This seemed to ice the game.
In other news, the Oklahoma Thunder have taken a 3-0 command in the series against the Denver Nuggets, who seem to vastly improve as a team after the trade. The Thunder win game three, 97 to 94. The Thunder were led by Durant's 26 points, as Oklahoma look to sweep the Nuggets on Monday.
For today's game, the heat are looking to sweep the Philadelphia 76ers, and be the first team to advance to the second round. If the heat sweep, they will be awaiting the winner of the Boston and New York series. Boston is also looking to sweep New York, while they have a 3-0 series lead, and our playing the Knicks in MSG. The Orlando Magic, who looked like the favorites heading into the series, are trailing the Hawks 2 to 1, are going to try to tie the series today at Atlanta. The Lakers, who have a 2 to 1 series lead, after losing home court advantage in game 1, will try to go up 3 to 1 in series at New Orleans.
