April 30th 2011 12:21
The Memphis Grizzlies had ended the San Antonio Spurs' season on Friday. The Grizzlies had won game six, 99 to 91, and the series, 4 to 2. Before this series win, the Grizzles were 0 for 12 in playoff series wins. They finally capture their first series victory last night against the number one Spurs. The Grizzlies were led by Zach Randolph with 31 points and 11 points, Marc Gasol with 12 points and 13 boards, and Greivis Vasquez, the rookie from Maryland, who helped the Memphis Grizzlies with 11 points off the bench; took over Mike Conley spot, who was in foul trouble most of the game. The San Antonio were led by Tony Parker with 23 points, Manu Ginobili with 16, and Tim Duncan with 12 points. Now the Grizzlies are off to face to Oklahoma Thunder on Sunday in Oklahoma for game one of the Western Conference Semifinals.
