LeBron Being Mocked
June 15th 2011 14:04
After his team suffered losing to the Dallas Mavericks, LeBron James is now being poked fun of by a Chicago Cub affiliate Class A team, the Peoria Chiefs. Even when you thought LeBron James have suffered enough criticism from the media, whether his team win or lose, it is continuing in the off season. LeBron James has been criticized for “shrinking and having disappearing acts” in the NBA playoffs. The Peoria Chiefs are holding a “LeBron James NBA Championship Replica Giveaway Night.” In this giveaway night, the Chiefs will be handling out replica rings (also known as air) to fans by stadium workers. Throughout the giveaway night, which will be held on Thursday, the Chiefs will show video clips and highlights of a “true champion,” the Chicago Bulls, who won six NBA titles. To add insult to injury, the Peoria Chiefs are contemplating about skipping the fourth inning in order to mock the two time NBA MVP. At this event, a fan will win a replica of LeBron James NBA Finals NBA MVP, and there will be Heimlich maneuver classes in order to prevent people from “chocking in a big situation.” The vice president of ticket sales, Eric Obalil, said this is to get us (people in general) back to the real world and waking up and trying to solve our own personal problems. He was mocking fun of LeBron James, who made a comment that people will get over hating him, and that they have to return back to the real world and deal with their own problems. The promotion to make fun of LeBron James was announced Tuesday evening.
