Australian diver Loudy Wiggins is out of the Beijing Olympics after tearing her calf muscle at national trials in Hobart on Sunday morning.
Wiggins (nee Tourky), 28, tore the muscle during her opening dive in the women's 10-metre platform event.
She was visibily upset.
Wiggins was a bronze medallist at the Athens' Olympics in 2004 and was a genuine gold medal hopeful in China.
