Melbourne Victory grand final events

February 8th 2007 05:33
Melbourne Victory members and supporters have the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere of the 2007 A-League Grand Final against Adelaide United by attending up to three prestigious functions in the lead-up to the season decider at Telstra Dome.

While suiting up for three pre-match functions might seem a little over the top, the usually dedicated Blue and White Brigade won't shy away from attending a luncheon or two.

Details of the three events are as follows:

The Victory in Business Hyundai A-League Grand Final luncheon will take place at the Savoy Ballroom, Grand Hyatt Melbourne on Friday 16th February. One of the nation’s most astute footballer commentators, Les Murray, will recap on his remarkable experiences within the game, as well as offering his predictions in the lead up into the Grand Final. Tickets are available for $95 per person.

The Grand Final Chairman’s Function will take place two hours before kick-off at Telstra Dome on Sunday 18th February. The day promises to be filled with drama, suspense and action not to be missed. A premium match ticket is included as well as access to the post-match function with the Victory players. Tickets are available for $350 per person.

The celebrations will continue in the week following the Grand Final with The Victory Medal at the Savoy Ballroom, Grand Hyatt Melbourne on Friday 23rd February. Last year’s winner Kevin Muscat will be up against the likes of Fred, Danny Allsopp and Rodrigo Vargas to see who will claim the 2006/07 honours. Tickets are available for $150 per person.

Guests at all three events will receive a three-course meal, beverages and first class entertainment.

Tickets can purchased by calling the Melbourne Victory on 1300 783 015.

You would expect the Victory to win, considering the season they have had. Anything other than the title would be a major disappointment I think
