Nadal to play Wimbledon 2009

The question is on the lips of every sport enthusiast:
Will Rafael Nadal play Wimbledon?
To solve the puzzle, we only have to cast our eye on the weight of money poured onto Nadal in the Betfair market.
When news surfaced that Nadal would miss the Queen's lead-up tournament and was in doubt for Wimbledon, his Betfair price eased from a short of $2.60, to around $4, then blew to around $11.
$10,000 was traded at $11.
From there, Nadal has been squeezed in to $6, with large amounts traded through the 9s, 8s and 7s.
The world's number one player will play Wimbledon, and will probably make the finals.
On his official blog, Nadal suggested he won't play Wimbledon "unless he is 100 per cent fit".
This is hard to believe.
The top ranked player, and defending champion, will play, there is no doubt.
Nadal was thumped by Robin Soderling in the fourth round of the French Open. Soderling, who Nadal once described as the most unliked player in the locker room, played the best tennis of his career, and powered to the final.
His nerves then paved way for Federer to crush him in straight sets. Roger Federer was destined to win at Roland Garros, and this was his year.
But don't discount Rafa's chances on the Wimbledon grass, the $6 will crumble into 4s, even 3s, when he is named in the official draw, to be handed down in the coming week.
If you're in the market, lay Andy Murray now, the $5.30 on offer is way too short. Murray won't win Wimbledon.
