Nick D'Arcy sentenced: 14 months

Breaking news on Sport Talk:

Australian swimmer Nick D'Arcy has been sentenced to 14 months and 12 days jail.

The sentence was wholly suspended, meaning D'Arcy will avoid jail, provided he does not commit a serious offence in the near future.

D'Arcy pleaded guilty to assault.
