An inspirational display from Ronaldinho helped Brazil to a comprehensive 4-0 win over Chile at the Nya Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg on Saturday.
The Barcelona forward opened the scoring from the penalty spot after 15 minutes before AC Milan ace Kaka doubled their advantage on the half-hour mark.
Ronaldinho netted his second four minutes after the break with a stunning free-kick and defender Juan grabbed a fourth on the hour mark.
"This was an important game as Chile will be our rivals in the next Copa America and in the qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup," said Brazil coach Dunga.
"I´m happy with the victory but now we have to think about our next game against Ghana."
Meanwhile, Ali Vahedi Nikbakht's early solitary strike handed Iran a slender 1-0 victory over Qatar.
The 26-year-old striker scored the only goal of the game after seven minutes following an error from Qatar goalkeeper Papa Malik, who dropped the ball from Ferydoon Zandi's corner.
Iran had the upper hand in the remainder of the game and should have added to their lead in the 56th minute Ferydoon Zandi as Qatar struggled without several key players.
In other friendlies, Japan downed Peru 2-0, Uruguay defeated South Korea 2-0, Montenegro overpowered Hungary 2-1 and Austria and Ghana fought out a 1-1 draw.
