Carlton 16.6.102 lost to Collingwood 24.11.155
West Coast 10.13.73 lost to Fremantle 17.9.111
Big news stories in brief
- The fall of Adelaide has been astonishing and alarming. Now sitting at 0-6 it's clear that injuries and an aging squad have finally caught up with the Crows.
- Ugly Football. In the spotlight again following St Kilda and the Bulldogs combining for under 100 points at Etihad, under the roof.
- Hawthorn soft? After surrendering meekly to Essendon, going scoreless in the last quarter, Hawthorn were labelled soft and too nice. This from the team that invented unsociable football
- A couple of officials and a coach were busted for betting on AFL games and were given varying punishments. Shows that the gambling code is working nicely for the AFL.
- Will Richmond win a game
