Wii Internet Connection Problems...

Nintendo Wii on Sport Talk?

That's right! One of Sport Talk's most viewed articles was on Wii Sports, the launch title of the Nintendo Wii.

As a follow up to many questions asked regarding the Wii and connecting to the Internet, here is some help!

Wii users are experiencing a plethora of internet connection problems and Sport Talk has answers.

Wii can't find your router?
Wii won't recognise your internet access point?
Wii won't connect to the Internet?
Problems with WEP?

We all know the Wii is wireless, you can't connect to a wired LAN straight out of the box, so these problems are frustrating.


HERE IS THE SECRET TO WIRELESS WII....

Set your router to CHANNEL 1 or 11... No auto-scan, no auto-channel, set your router to channer one or eleven.

This should fix most problems you are having.

what should i do, i am using an internet router but there are no channels to turn to 1 or 11. i am using a wii LAN Adapter but it still wont work. What should i do?

if you are using a LAN adaptor, ie a wired connection, you shouldn't have to deal with wireless problems.

router settings can be adjusted from the address found in your manual, an IP address entered into a web browser.

are u sure the LAN cable is OK and the connection on the router is enabled?

Hi im tring to get internet throught my D link wireless router but when I test my wii connection the wii asks for my router password and so I enter it but still no luck getting to next stage or step. ill try the channel 1 or 11 really quick but i dont know how to do that either. any help would be great
